The department has three big Laboratories are used for B.Pharm, M.Pharm-I Practical and M.Pharm-II Research. These laboratories have premier instruments for several drug evaluation procedures. Just to name a few, Plethysmometer, Analgesiometer, Eddy’s Hot plate, Convulsiometer, Actophotometer, Rota-Rod Apparatus, Cook’s pole climbing apparatus, and so on. The department having a spacious, well-furnished and multi compartment animal house which has small animals such as mice, rats, rabbits and guinea pigs, etc. for regular teaching to undergraduate, postgraduate studies and perform preclinical research. Institute have Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) approved by CPCSEA (Reg No: 1340/PO/Re/S/10/CPCSEA) for conducting animal based experiments.The laboratories and animal house are GLP certified from Drug controller & licensing authority of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
