Bachelor of Pharmacy

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) is a Four Year (Eight Semesters) undergraduate programme approved by AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Savitribai Phule Pune University.  Sanctioned Intake and Seat distribution:

The Sanctioned Intake for First Year Degree Course shall be as per the approval given by AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Savitribai Phule Pune University. 

Seat distribution for 60 seats is given below:

Eligibility Criteria:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;

(iii) Obtained Non Zero Score in MHT-CET 2018 (PCB or PCM)/ NEET

Admission Procedures:

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate seat – (Admission by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra)

  • 18 Seats (out of 60 approved intake) are being admitted by DTE, Maharashtra state. Candidate needs to apply to DTE, Maharashtra for centralized admission process.
  • Eligible candidates would be allotted admission as per merit prepared by DTE, Maharashtra, considering results of MHT-CET of current year.

Dadra & Nagar Haveli Candidature Seats – (Admission by Department of Education, Dadra & Nagar Haveli)

  • 12 Seats (out of 60 approved intake) are being admitted by Department of Education, Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
  • Candidate needs to apply to Department of Education, Dadra & Nagar Haveli for centralized admission process.
  • Eligible candidates would be allotted admission as per merit prepared by Department of Education, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, considering results of NEET/ MHT-CET of current year.

All India Candidature Seats and Institutional Quota Seats and vacant seats after CAP

  • 30 Seats (out of 60 approved intake) and vacant seats after CAP are being admitted by Institute.

Documents to be submitted for Candidates

All candidates

  • SSC (Std. X) mark sheet.
  • HSC mark sheet.
  • NEET / MHT-CET Score Card Mark Sheet.
  • School Leaving Certificate, if required to substantiate claim.
  • Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate
  • Gap Certificate if any
  • Migration Certificate

In addition to the above documents candidates are required to produce the following additional documents depending upon the category to which they belong.

Maharashtra state candidates

  • Type– A Candidates
    Domicile/Birth/Leaving certificate of candidate Indicating place of Birth in the State of Maharashtra.
  • Type– B Candidates
    Domicile certificate of candidate/father/mother of candidate indicating that he/she is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra.
  • Type– C Candidates
    Certificate from the employer in the proforma – A stating that father/mother of the candidate who is a Central Government / Government of India undertaking employee is presently posted in Maharashtra.
  • Type– D Candidates
    Certificate from the employer in the proforma – B stating that father/mother of the candidate who is a Maharashtra State Government / Maharashtra State Government undertaking employee. Or Undertaking along with documentary evidences from the retired employee stating the place of settlement.
  • Type-E Candidates
    Maharashtra Karnataka disputed border area Candidates
  • Certificate stating that candidate belongs to the Maharashtra Karnataka disputed border area in proforma – G1.
    • Certificate stating that the mother tongue of the candidate is Marathi in proforma – G2 (List of the villages in Maharashtra Karnataka disputed border area is available on website)
  • Backward class Candidates belonging to S.C. / S.T.
    • Caste certificate
    • Caste/Tribe validity certificate
  • Backward class Candidates belonging to VJ/DTNT(A)/ NT(B) / NT(C) / NT(D) /O.B.C/ SBC
    • Caste certificate
    • Caste validity certificate
    • Non creamy layer certificate
