College Development Committee (CDC)
Functions:
- To prepare an overall comprehensive development plan of the institute regarding academic, administrative and infrastructural growth and enable the institute to foster excellence in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- To follow up with apex bodies such as SPPU, AICTE, PCI, DTE and state government.
- To take necessary measures against recommendations from various apex bodies from time to time.
- To approve the annual financial budget and financial statements of the institute.
- To approve students’ and employees’ welfare activities in the institute.
- To encourage and strengthen research culture, consultancy and extension activities in the institute.
- To approve decisions made in IQAC and make suitable recommendations.
- To take appropriate measures regarding discipline, safety and security issues of the institute.
- To appoint staff as per the requirement of the institute.
- To encourage induction and training program for newly appointed staff.
- To allot duties for various institute level committees.
- To encourage faculties to participate in various faculty development programs, seminars, conferences and workshops.
- To recommend the improvement in teaching and suitable training programs for the employees of the institute.
- To approve annual progress report the institute.
